Course Description
Every workplace is full of people who think, process, and work differently and that's a good thing. This course is for people leaders and individual contributors who want to understand neurodiversity, move past the myths, and create workplaces where everyone has a real shot at doing their best work.

Along the way, you'll discover why neurodivergent talent represents one of the most overlooked opportunities in today's labour market and how to actually support, and retain them. Through practical strategies and honest conversation, you'll learn how to shape your team’s culture, your environment, and your leadership approach to bring out the best in your whole team, including the people who may have been quietly struggling to fit into a system that was never designed with them in mind.

We're All Wired Differently
  • What neurodiversity actually means and what it doesn't
  • The many ways neurodivergence shows up at work
  • Why neurodivergent people represent an extraordinary and largely untapped workforce

Let's Clear the Air
  • Letting go of the myths and misconceptions that hold workplaces back
  • What accommodation really looks like, and why it's less complicated than we think (Note: not legal advice)
  • What a good accommodation conversation looks like for everyone involved

Culture is Everything
  • What it feels like to belong and what it feels like when you don't
  • Building psychological safety for people who think differently
  • Moving from "we tolerate differences" to "we genuinely value them"

The Environment Matters More Than You Think
  • How light, sound, and temperature affect neurodivergent employees
  • Simple, low-cost changes that make a big difference
  • Rethinking where and how work happens- flexible, remote, and hybrid options

Leading People, Not Managing Outputs
  • Shifting to a results-oriented approach (ROWE)
  • Meeting people where they are- flexible communication and supervision
  • Seeing and building on the strengths neurodivergent employees bring

Knowing Yourself at Work
  • Understanding your own working style and needs
  • How and when to advocate for yourself
  • Navigating accommodation conversations with confidence

The HR Professional as Culture Builder
  • Weaving neurodiversity into hiring, onboarding, and retention
