Course Description
Any discussion on the Oil and Gas Industry must be diverse since there are numerous topics relating to exploration, drilling, production, risk analysis, regulation, transportation, and amongst others two of the most important are Reserves and the Oil Price.

Reserves and the Oil Price are critical topics in an economic sense and the close connection between them is rarely understood. Recent events such as the Covid pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine War have had a profound effect on the oil price and, consequently, reserves.

This half-day short course will review the fundamentals of these important topics, discuss their historical behaviour and illustrate their relationship.

Who Should Attend
The course will be of significant benefit to non-technical personnel and recent hires in oil companies, many levels of government, legal and accounting firms and individuals who invest in the stock market.
