Joe Paviglianiti, P.Eng, is based in Calgary, Canada with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.  He worked in pipeline and facility construction as an NDE technician before obtaining a degree in engineering. Joe’s current responsibilities include inspecting, incident investigation and integrity management oversight. In addition, he provides input into regulatory and standards development in Canada and internationally. Since 1999, Joe has participated in the development of the CSA Z662 and associated standards as a committee voting member, Chairman of the Construction Technical Subcommittee, Technical Committee and Executive Committee. In addition, he is the current Vice-Chairman of the ISO TC67/SC 2 Mirror committee. Joe received the prestigious CSA Award of Merit for his commitment to CSA standards development. In addition to having published papers in technical conferences proceedings and journals, Joe has provided training and presentations on various integrity management related topics, construction techniques, standards development, and regulations in numerous countries.
