Ben Visser is the Founder and Director of Visser Consulting Ltd, a Regulatory, Environmental and Safety Consulting company serving the upstream oil and gas industry for over 17 years. Ben has over 40 years in the industry in operations. He was a regulatory inspector with the ERCB and has continued to do consulting work with them. Along with consulting, Ben has written and instructed several courses, both for Visser clients as well as for Enform. These courses include environmental and regulatory requirements, waste management and pipeline courses.

Ben has extensive knowledge in Pipeline Operations, as well as pipeline integrity requirements. Ben has provided training to many of the largest Canadian Oil and Gas companies pipeline operations staff and in the past 5 years, he has helped in them understand the requirements found in the Pipeline Act and Regulations as well as CSA Z662.
