As an energetic and versatile Human Resources Management Consultant, Jane has over 25 years of experience in the design, facilitation, and evaluation of various training and development programs, including leadership development programs.
Jane’s passion and enthusiasm for the training and development area is evident in the facilitation of her highly interactive and engaging workshops. Jane’s participants have included those working in oil and gas, manufacturing, information technology, health care, government, education, engineering, not-for-profit, etc. Jane has also taught for many years at both the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University.
Jane is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Management Consultant (CMC). Jane is a member of the Human Resources Association of Calgary, the Human Resources Institute of Alberta, and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants.

- Designed and facilitated several training and development programs for various companies in the private sector; topics included Interpersonal Communications, Conflict Management, Stress Management, Time Management, MBTI®, Leadership Essentials, and Personal Effectiveness.
- Designed a competency-based Career Pathing and Training Program for a private company in the manufacturing sector. This included the integration of several systems and processes including recruitment, selection and orientation, performance and career development, and training and development. Positions focused on for this program included Labourers, Welding Apprentices, and Journeymen Welders to Lead Hands, Foreman, Project Manager, Purchaser, Quality Control and OH&S.
- Designed and facilitated several training programs for The City of Calgary, Learning for Municipal Excellence Program, People Management Track. City-specific topics included: Your Mind @ Work…Mental Health in the Workplace, Job Design and Evaluation,
Managing Workplace Safety, Health and Wellness, Pay and Benefits, Organization and Position Management, Performance and Career Management, Skills for Positive Interactions with Employees, Recruitment and Selection, and Employee Departures.
