Lisa Gallant

Lisa Gallant is the owner and manager of Checkone2 Enterprises Inc., a consultancy practice providing services to businesses in transition in a wide range of industries, which she started in 2007.
As a professional accountant, Lisa served as corporate officer and director, CFO, and VP of Finance for owner-managed companies since 1986, participating from start-up, development, through significant growth and divestiture in senior finance roles.
Since 2005 Lisa has served on the faculty of the SAIT Polytechnic School of Business. She has provided course development and instruction in accounting for both private sector and post-secondary institutions, and prepares and assesses candidates through the professional credentialing process on behalf of CGA Canada. In addition, Lisa serves as an entrepreneurism subject matter expert for CGA Alberta contributing articles for their Better Business Advocate in Alberta Venture Magazine, The Bottom Line, and CGA Magazine.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business, and is a member of the Certified General Accountants Associations of Alberta and Prince Edward Island.
In 2011, Lisa concluded her 23-year hiatus to Alberta, and returned home to Prince Edward Island, where she lives and conducts her businesses from a Prince Edward Island Registered Heritage Place in Eglington, on PEI’s beautiful Eastern Shore.
